- Inform the airline about your needs at least 48 hours before your flight to ensure proper assistance is arranged. Let the airline know if you're bringing your own mobility aids such as wheelchairs or scooters.
- If you're a blue badge holder you can either park in the dedicated disabled bays in the premium or standard parking or any space within our car parks that is convenient and the first 1 hours is free.
- You can carry scissors in your hand luggage with a blade length less than 6cm and with rounded ends.
- There can be queues at security - always be comfortable before entering the security area and if you carry medications make sure you have the supported paperwork.
- At security, a private screening room is available - you can request this if selected for a manual body search.
- An additional clear bag is permitted for prescribed medications if required.
- Wheelchair users can remain in their wheelchair and may receive a manual body 'pat down' (search). The security agent may also 'swab' you hands and shoes with a dry piece of cloth that is then placed in a machine to detect any prohibited substances.
- The ground handling agent will tell you when it's time to board the aircraft. If you're feeling anxious then you should ask for help from the ground handing agent at your gate or any member of staff.
