Isle of Man Airport update-Highlighted at Isle of Man Government Conference 2025

The Isle of Man Airport was pleased to participate in the Isle of Man Government Conference 2025, held at the Comis Hotel, Douglas. The event brought together senior leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to discuss the Island’s strategic priorities and future ambitions.

 

 

Among the key speakers was Geoff Pugh, Interim Airport Director, who delivered an update on the evolving role of the Isle of Man Airport in supporting national connectivity and customer experience. His address emphasised the Airport’s position as a critical gateway for the Island - connecting communities.

Mr Pugh outlined several ongoing initiatives, including infrastructure upgrades and operational efficiencies aligned with the Government’s wider public service strategy. These developments reflect the Airport’s commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and customer centred services that meet the needs of residents, businesses, and visitors.

The conference also reinforced the importance of cross - sector collaboration in delivering sustainable, high-quality services. From transport and education to healthcare and housing, the shared commitment to innovation and accountability was evident throughout the two day event.
