Isle of Man Airport, also known as Ronaldsway Airport and, in Manx, Purt Aer Vannin, is the main civilian airport on the Isle of Man.
The Airport is located in the south of the island at Ronaldsway near Castletown, 6 NM (11 km; 6.9 miles) southwest of Douglas the island's capital. Along with the Isle of Man Sea Terminal, it is one of the two main gateways to the island.

Our main car park offers dedicated disabled parking spaces conveniently located within a short distance of the terminal building ensuring easy access for all passengers. Check out our Parking at the Airport page for more information on parking available for people with disabilities. 

In addition, you can use the designated disabled drop-off and pick-up zone at the front of the terminal building for added convenience. This drop off zone and pick-up zone is strictly for immediate drop off or pick up only with NO WAITING ALLOWED

Media Filming and Photography at Isle of Man Airport

All filming and photography at the Isle of Man Airport requires prior approval from the airport’s administrative team. This applies to all forms of media capture, including still photography, video recording, and live broadcasting.

Media Filming Requests

Accredited members of the media wishing to film at the Isle of Man Airport for the purpose of covering a news story must contact the Airport Administration team in advance via:

Filming will only be permitted where it does not compromise airport operations, passenger privacy, or security protocols.

Non-News or personal Filming

Isle of Man Airport is currently unable to accommodate non-news or personal filming requests.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a secure and operationally efficient airport environment.

The IOM CAA is the division of the Government's Department for Enterprise that is responsible for regulating aviation safety and security in the Isle of Man. The Isle of Man Aircraft Registry is a part of the IOM CAA.

The IOM CAA is responsible for ensuring aviation legislation in the Isle of Man meets International Civil Aviation Organisation ('ICAO') Standards and Recommended Practices and other relevant aviation standards.

If you plan to fly a drone near the airport, it’s essential to understand and comply with the legal requirements, including maintaining safe distances and obtaining necessary permissions where applicable.
