Expedition Limitless Departs Isle of Man Airport for Major Fundraising Challenge - The Big Swim
The Isle of Man Airport was proud to support the departure of Martin Malone, expedition leader of Expedition Limitless, as he travelled to London City Airport with Loganair ahead of his next major fundraising challenge –The Big Swim.
The event, taking place from 6–7 September at St Andrews Lakes, Kent, is a 24-hour endurance swim aimed at raising vital funds for Rebecca House and The Children’s Centre. It forms part of the wider Expedition Limitless 2026 campaign, which seeks to raise £200,000 in support of children and families across the Isle of Man.
Joined by a photographer/videographer, the team captured some fantastic moments with Loganair crew before take-off, Loganair supported the team by providing flights and contributing to the event’s fundraising raffle in aid of the incredible work by Martin and Expedition Limitless to raise funds for two Isle of Man charities, highlighting the spirit of adventure and community behind this initiative.
Dawn Taylor, Advertising and Communications Manager at Isle of Man Airport, said:
“It’s always a privilege to support individuals and organisations making a real difference. Martin’s commitment to this challenge is inspiring, and we’re proud to have played a small part in helping him on his way. We wish him and the team every success and look forward to seeing the impact of their efforts.”
The Isle of Man Airport remains committed to supporting community-led initiatives and providing a gateway for meaningful journeys that make a difference.
