Our Airport Service Delivery Managers (ASDMs) work hard behind the scenes ensuring as smooth operations as possible, from the moment you check in to the time you collect your baggage. Their mission? To make your journey as smooth and as stress-free as possible.

Training and Development

Our ASDMs are not just highly skilled; they are continuously evolving. Trained in Airport Security Management and Threat Assessment, they are always prepared to handle any situation.

Safety

Safety is our top priority. Our ASDMs manage terminal emergency response procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. They lead and inspire their teams, resolve day to day safety related issues and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

Our ASDMs oversee every aspect of terminal operations, ensuring efficient check-in, security, and passenger facilities. They are the problem-solvers, addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly. Coordination is key, and they work closely with airlines, security teams, ground handlers, retail partners and any contractors on site to keep everything running smoothly. In times of disruption, managing operational issues and supporting terminal emergency procedures. They are always looking for ways to improve, driving initiatives to enhance the passenger experience. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory organisations and service providers, is a crucial part of their role. Compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and procedural requirements is a given.

Kelly Quirk

Head of Passenger Operations

Kelly Quirk began her aviation career in 2001 as Cabin Crew for Manx Airlines. After several years with locally based airlines, she transitioned to Ground Handling. Kelly served as Duty Manager and Trainer for Flight Support before advancing to Station Manager for Rendezvous Handling. When Rendezvous Handling ceased trading, she joined Menzies Aviation as a Support Services Officer, handling recruitment, HR, training, and supporting senior management. In 2019, Kelly joined Isle of Man Airport as a Security Compliance Officer, conducting audits and monitoring airport security to ensure compliance with regulations. In 2023, she was promoted to Head of Passenger Operations, responsible for all aspects of security and passenger experience at the airport.

Education:  Kelly is a highly trained professional with extensive qualifications in various fields. She is a Security Manager, Threat Assessor, and Radiation Protection Supervisor, with expertise in Security Management Systems, Managing Insider Risks, Auditing, Mental Health First Aid, Suicide Intervention, Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).

Kelly holds Level 3 qualifications in Education and Training, Assessing Competence, and Assessing Quality Assurance. She is currently pursuing an International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH), further enhancing her comprehensive skill set.
Kelly's qualifications are recognised by the Institution of Occupational Health and Safety, underscoring her commitment to maintaining high standards in her field.

Personal Interests:  Kelly is deeply committed to her role, which leaves her with little free time. However, she finds joy in the dynamic environment of the airport and the satisfaction of ensuring a smooth passenger experience.
